Hi my name is Katarina and I am a lover of chocolate, good food and red wine. I’m passionate about helping men and women to lose weight and gain confidence about their bodies. I quickly fell in love with fitness and nutrition when I saw results in my own life! I looked and felt better after having 2 girls within 3 years than before my first pregnancy. Because of this amazing lifestyle change I have decide to open up a gym. I ran the gym for over 6 years from the beginning until we sold in January of 2019 and helped many people to change their habits.
Every person is different and need different approach and exercise plan. I concentrate on improving the weak areas combined with strength, balance and coordination in the one session. Depending on clients experience, fitness level, goal and time frame I create efficient plan to help them reach their fitness goals. I like to push people to become more fit, but I do not reach the line when client gets discouraged from unwanted extreme soreness or overall discomfort.
I began training with Katarina about 2 years ago. The main reason I was interested in a trainer, is because I felt I needed to be "pushed" in my workouts, but I did not want to injure myself. Working out on my own for so long, I was bored and not getting any results. Katarina was not only interested in my training goals but eating habits and general lifestyle. She was genuinely interested in me and not just going "through the motions." It took me a while to become truly committed to working out. She was very patient with me and took time to learn about me enough to realize when I needed to be pushed and when to be patient and understanding. I've come a long way since we first began training. I now go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week during my lunch time, and make a habit of walking at least 2-3 miles on the weekends. My life has changed dramatically. Working out is now a habit, which I enjoy! I have lost 20 pounds since we began training. It was a slow process, but, so worth it. Katarina believed in me at times when I didn't believe in myself! I would not be where I am today, if not for her excellent training. My balance has greatly improved, I have a stronger core and real muscles. I would highly recommend Katarina as an excellent and experienced trainer who takes the time to really get to know her clients.
