Hi, my name is Karla. I graduated with an exercise and sport science degree from Southwest Texas State University in 2000. I started personal training in gyms right out of college and I'm currently providing mostly in-home training. I work with all ages and genders and help my clients to reach their goals by encouraging habits that are life changing. I'm blessed to be doing something I'm very passionate about.

During each training session I will guide you through a safe and effective workout plan while providing motivation and support. I do monthly BMI and body fat testing and will talk you through nutrition as well. I will be available to you via phone or email to answer your questions apart from the actual session, and may also provide you with workouts to supplement your personal training session.
Joe came in to train with me weighing 235 lbs. He realized he needed to lose weight and fine tune his eating habits. Each week Joe would see inches coming off in different areas and was ecstatic to see his clothes were falling off of him! His confidence was boosting as well as his energy. His final weight was 175lbs and body fat was at 10 percent. Joe is still leading an active and healthy lifestyle today!

Karla was great. She listened to my needs and made use of the equipment I had as well as free weights, etc since we had to train via zoom. All exercises were different so it never got boring and it seemed like all muscle groups were hit. Great trainer.
I got my wife a workout package with Karla for her birthday. My wife has a variety of health issues and back surgery so I needed someone with experience and patience to work with her. This was a hard requirement for choosing a fitness instructor for her. Karla was PERFECT.
My wife learned so much from her and was able to really improve her strength and muscular program. She had a ton of alternatives around her specific health limitations and we are forever grateful. Thank you Karla!
This was my first session with Karla. She is very friendly, knowledgable, and , and focused on your fitness needs. Her in-home gym is very well equipped. I was very satisfied with the session and definitely plan on continuing my fitness journey with Karla as my coach.
You can't go wrong whether a beginner or committed exerciser wanting to be more challenged. I highly recommend Karla!
I would highly recommend Karla. She has a great amount of knowledge in fitness, nutrition and how the body works. She is good to present options but, also listens well to your desires and needs. I was a total beginner and she is my first trainer ever. What a wonderful experience. She made having a personal trainer less intimidating for me all while having good plans and information to get me moving towards goals I wanted to meet and things she knew I needed.
I've had two sessions with Karla so far and I'm feeling great. I'm an older, out of shape lady and Karla pushes me just enough without overdoing it. I can feel the results as all of my awakening muscles are tender but Karla assures me this will get better with strengthening.
I would definitely recommend Karla to anyone who would like to get in shape, especially a beginner who is new to this type of training. I can also see how Karla's knowledge and support would benefit others who are already in shape but would like the additional attention.
