About Me

I'm a coach at BRICK New York, where we offer 3 types of classes: HIIT, basic strength & conditioning, and CrossFit, of which I coach all three. Personally, my fitness focus has changed a lot over the past few years. Right now, I am dedicated to Olympic Weightlifting, so I have been focusing exclusively on strength training. However, I have also run races from 5ks to marathons, and even 50 milers & a 100 miler! The majority of my running experience has been on trails, although I am no stranger to road running. I have also run a great number of obstacle course races, including 2 Spartan Ultra Beasts (30+ miles). I love testing my limits & seeing what I'm capable of, and I'm very passionate about helping others do the same!

What to Expect

Every session begins with a status assessment, because some days, it's just not all there. I want to know if you slept well the night before or if you're stressed out and everything in between. After I know how you're feeling and what we can expect for the day, we begin with a warm-up, including muscle activation specific for the day's training, and dynamic stretching. We will then get into the "meat & potatoes" of the session, whether it's strength and/or conditioning. We will go over form, technique, and what I expect of you. As always, we will finish with accessory work and a nice cool-down including stretching where we can take the time to talk about active recovery or a rest day protocol.
