I’m a trainer with over five years experience helping people successfully realize their health & fitness goals. I provide one-on-one training at your residence, place of work, or within gyms in the area that allow for independent trainers. Whether you’re looking for fat loss, muscle & strength gains, injury prevention, or simply general health and well-being, together we’ll create a plan of action that’s right for YOU! I seek to constantly expand my knowledge and integrate productive training practices for my clients. My experience in an eclectic mix of disciplines (strength training, martial arts, mountain biking, kayaking, sports rehabilitation, etc.) has helped to inform my work with people who have a wide range of backgrounds, abilities, and objectives. However, training with me is not your random, flavor of the week (weak?) exercise class. The tools and strategies employed are time-tested, evidence-based, and are designed to help you reach your goals in the safest, most efficient manner possible. I believe pushing oneself physically demands and develops incredible focus and willpower, which can potentially translate to other areas of your life. Whether you’re an experienced athlete, or a beginner who has never worked out a day in your life, my aim is to help you connect to what really drives you, unlocking your own innate strength to achieve real, lasting results.

What to Expect

No matter which style, my biggest focus when I train my clients is form and troubleshooting/preventing injuries. In today's age of information for workouts, exercise descriptions, and apps, the value I bring to the table is making sure you're doing it right. Weight position in the feet, balance between left and right sides, balance between antagonistic muscle groups, posture, how you stand, how you sit: these factors will determine your fitness, your injury risk, and your quality of life as you age.
