When we first started working together, she hadn't exercised since high school, was constantly pressed for time, and didn't know where to begin. I designed effective, intense workouts that incorporated moves that required very little equipment, as well as provided both cardio and resistance training. We also worked together to clean up her diet, and each week I provided new recipe ideas each week to keep her on track. She has lost over 20 pounds in just a few months, and has toned up significantly. We still meet twice a week.

When you train with me, you can anticipate a challenging workout that incorporates all aspects of fitness. I cover cardio, strength and flexibility in each session, so you will always feel well-rounded. I usually spend 10-15 minutes of each hour long session focusing on stretching, and spend the rest of the time doing different circuits to keep the workout interesting.

Joy is an amazing trainer. We get up and are at the gym by 5:30 a.m. She has a unique style of challenging you through encouragement and motivation and even at 5 a.m. Joy is bubbly and cheerful. I am so lucky to be working with her on my fitness goals.
