The name is Josiah and I grew up in two places. I was born in Brooklyn, NY but as a kid I moved around a lot. I lived in Brooklyn until it was time to start middle school then I moved to Tampa, Florida. Growing up I’ve always been super small and a big geek. I was bullied, called names, and always had to defend myself. Plus it didn’t help that I carried a huge stack of all my text books around from class to class and never used a locker. Kids figured I was soft and could be pushed around. I was always the last pick for the all the sports because I wasn’t good at them. All through my years of schooling I tried super hard to fit in and sometimes by trying to be someone I wasn’t. I tried hanging out with different crowds and I hid the fact that I got good grades and lied to these “friends” about getting F’s in class so I could be cool. I got fed up and after a while I started to be myself. I opened up and mingled with everyone I could and this is when I started to change. I picked up many hobbies, became pretty athletic from consistent practice, and started going to the gym with someone I knew. From there the rest was history. I’ve always wanted to be a superhero so I trained night and day to become the best version of myself possible. I realized after a few years how important it was to exercise and was amazed at the things the human body could do. It no longer was about just the physical aspect anymore. This whole fitness thing is a process. It’s about personal growth, mental toughness, well-being, and living the best life you can live. I want to change lives through fitness and help others change lives as well to make the world a better place. I always knew I was destined to do something great and this is how I will leave my mark.

In a typical session you can expect it to be very informative and challenging. There is a specific purpose for each movement in your program that is tailored to you. Workouts are progressive, fun, and motivating to inspire you to be better today than you were yesterday.
Army veteran Erik S. started training with me mid 2017. He came to me with a number of limitations(knee cap held together by pins after a grenade exlpoded while he was in the army, posterior tibial tendon disfunction, and torn meniscus to name a few) and a goal to change his body. In 6 months he lost 20 lbs, tons of inches around his waist, dropped body fat and gained a ton of muscle. The most amazing part of all was that he no longer had any pain in the problem areas that caused his limitations to affect him! This was an amazing turn around for his life and it’s moments like these that makes me proud to be a trainer.
