Hi, my name is Joshua. I’ve been working out since I was 16 years old. I remember my father telling me “if you can do 20 perfect pushups, I’ll teach you how to lift weights.” By the time I was 14 I found myself performing pushups for my family to try to reach 20 perfect so I could go to the gym with my dad. 16 years later, program after program, failures and accomplishments. I’ve learned a lot and I have helped motivate and train a lot of people. No one is to good to be coached and everyone can learn something new from a trainer or coach. I’ve always been a skinny guy so building muscle has been very difficult for me but hard work and due diligence pays off. I am here to help YOU. Whatever YOUR goal is, that’s what I am going to help you achieve.
I try not to be too hands on, in the sense of making you second guess your set or bothersome in the sense of correcting your form every rep. I walk you through the motion and give advice on the weight you do, I keep track of rest time and sets and reps and will adjust form as needed but for the most part, everyone is different and no one wants to be discouraged during their workout. They want to be motivated!
I helped my top female client gain 3 pounds of muscle while losing weight and yes, the scale was 3 pounds heavier BUT she was down a pants size and the before and after pictures don’t lie!
