HI, my name is Joshua. I've been into various forms of fitness for the past 8 years now, starting when I reached 210 lb, and immediately started hitting the gym, going an average of 6 days a week, on top of beginning my martial arts training around the same time, training at the studio an average of 3 nights per week, for 3 hour sessions. I was able to get down to 12% body fat, and greatly increase my cardio, flexibility, and amount of weight I could lift (doubled or more than doubled, in most cases). I've researched extensively on how to enhance the human cardiovascular capacity, flexibility, and muscle growth requirements as they pertain to various exercise techniques, along with caloric intake and meal planning. I have successfully trained a number of individuals over the years, both professionally and non-professionally, to reduce weight, increase strength and flexibility, and to learn traditional Chinese martial arts.
Depending on your goals, what you can expect are solid foundations of knowledge on what to do, how often to do it, what to avoid, how to develop and enhance plans for success, along with specific techniques to manage success in areas such as weight loss or gain, muscle training and development, flexibility, and if there's interest, martial arts training.
I helped one young man lose 50 lb in a rapid yet healthy rate. Through first-hand direction (working alongside him), he was able to follow my planning, stick with it, and reach his short-term goal for weight loss.
