Hello and thank you for your interest! My number one objective is to help my clients achieve their goals using the most efficient tools and methods available. I have been training people for six years and have worked with many different people from young, athletic men and women, to beginners, to people simply looking to stay or become healthy, mobile and strong, and shed a few pounds. I love working with people and helping them better themselves. I prefer foundational movements and apply different modalities including my favorite, traditional strength training, as well as body-weight work, coordination and stability movements. I believe form is paramount to training safely and effectively. I'm currently studying to become a Physical Therapist. As a type one diabetic and celiac, I also have an extensive background in nutrition and different diets. I work in both gyms and home environments, getting creative if necessary. Whether you are looking for one session or a longer term relationship with a trainer, I hope we can work together and achieve your goals. What to Expect

One of my favorite successes was from a young female client who went from only doing a few knee pushups to sets of 10 full pushups in only a couple of months. Many take the humble pushup for granted, but relative to her starting point, she had made great strides in upper body strength and more importantly, confidence in the gym.

John is a great trainor! He keeps you engaged in the workout and always mixes it up in order for your body to always be active and not hiting a platheu.

He explains how every exercise affects your body, which muscles are getting worked and how it benefits you in great detail, and also has a great atenttion to detail correcting even the slightest things you are doing wrong and with it making a huge difference assuring you get the most out of your workout.

I had a back injury and became terrified of working out. I needed someone who could push me while be knowledgeable of my limitations. Not only does John have extensive knowledge of proper workout techniques, but is also able to explain things where I can understand what I am supposed to do. Numerous times, I would be surprised how much a difference a small adjustment from John can make! I am able to move and excersise confidently after John's coaching and guidance. John is very accommodating with my variable schedule and tailors all the workouts to my needs. Book with John! I used him over the summer (2-3 sessions per week) and he was fantastic in creating a routine that I could stick to and allowed me to build muscle! John is friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. Regardless of your goal, he will know how to get you there and will motivate you to work harder than you could alone. It was an absolute pleasure working with John, and I would 110% do it again!

I am very grateful for John, I can’t say enough positive things about him. He has helped me to customize a work out regime that is improved my strength immensely. He has worked closely with me on my fitness goals and helped me to achieve things I never thought I could. He has also helped my alignment tremendously. I have been dancing for sixteen years and have suffered through several dance injuries, specifically in my lower back. Due to these injuries, I was always nervous about lifting/ training with weights. John taught me how to lift safely and effectively. Since beginning training with John my back injuries have ceased to bother me and I have gained more muscle in my back. John is patient, attentive and really cares about his clients. He got me doing movements I was scared of doing wrong and getting injured by. If I didn't "get" an exercise right away he'd take the time to explain it in different ways and make sure that I did it right. I fit in my clothes better and people have been noticing!

He's funny and down to earth, and even if I was feeling tired or having a bad day, I always felt like he pushed me to give my best.

John helped me get stronger, more muscular, and lose fat. He worked around my busy schedule and put in a lot of effort to teach me how to lift correctly and safely. He also helped me simplify my diet and get rid of foods that were just empty calories and made me feel sluggish throughout the day. Highly recommend him if you want to feel better and get stronger!
