My name is Jesse, and I’ve been working out since 2013. I also hold a Certified Personal Trainer license and am in pursuit of a bachelor’s in engineering science. Ever since the beginning of my fitness journey, I’ve always tried to push myself to my limits, maybe more than I should have at that age. By exposing my body to the feeling of training to my limits, I grew into the feeling of the soreness and pain. However, not everyone wants to experience this. For those who grew up not exercising traditionally, the art of fitness and health can seem almost intimidating. Most people online are saying to push to your limits and that blood sweat and tears are the only answer, but how does that affect someone who’s never lifted a weight before? Therefore, I created Fitgineer. Fitness isn’t intimidating and there is this stigma that the only way that you can reap the benefits of it is to push yourself to the absolute limit. This is not the only way. My goal is to educate everyday people on the benefits of fitness and how to maximize these benefits with the time that you have. Fitness and health shouldn’t feel like another stress you have to worry about, but the opposite. Adopting a healthy habit such as this into your life will only bring more positive outcomes to the rest of your life. The best part of it all? There are so many ways to do it. So I plan to re-engineer people’s ideology of fitness and make it fun and accessible for everybody. I’ve felt the benefits that implementing this into your life can bring, and I want to share it as much as I can.
A mix of circuit training, resistance training, with an emphasis on increasing flexibility and using your body weight.
