I'm all about fitness! In addition to a personal training routine, I've been an endurance runner nearly 25 years. To-date, I have completed 24 Marathons, 90 Half Marathons, 3 Ultra's and hundreds of distances between. Professionally, I have been a health coach, personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and running coach since 2008. I blend my passion and knowledge of fitness into coaching all ages and abilities, from the person looking to get back into shape, the beginner runner to finish their first 5K, to the veteran runner in setting an ultra PR!. When not working-out, running, or coaching, I love travel, reading, and a good boot camp! I reside in Dallas, Texas with my husband, Scott, and daughter, Hailey. Personal training can mean a lot of things, from strength training to cardio. One size does not fit all. The program I design for you will include exercise-screening, goal-setting, health education, and motivation. What we focus on really depends on your goals, environment, and needs. It is my responsibility to design a workout routine that will challenge you to help you achieve the results you're looking for.

My sessions are personalized and focused on the client's expressed goals. I use mostly body weight movements and minimal equipment such as barbells, kettlebells, dumbells, jump ropes, medicine balls, stability balls, resistance bands and plyo boxes. I like to keep my sessions fun and non-repetitive. Rarely would a client perform an exercise the same way twice.
Back in 2011 I coached/trained a client who was sedentary to train and complete a half marathon within 18 weeks. This is someone that had very low self esteem and self image who never thought she could accomplish this and with belief, determination and hard work did it and the great news is she has become a runner and this is now part of her lifestyle.

I find Jen to be knowledgeable and listens. Had an injured shoulder customized workouts to not reinjure but still get a great workout. On time and prepared.
