Hi, my name is Jamila. I have been playing sports since I could walk and am constantly trying to stay active. I have two pups that keep me on my toes and we love going to the beach! I have a background in Kinesiology, exercise science, with intentions of attaining my personal trainer certification. I am one quarter away from finishing my master's program in applied behavior analysis. I am looking to use this knowledge to modify and manipulate my client's behavior to ensure a successful exercise program is plausible. I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and just teaching people the importance of exercise. My biggest goal is to help people understand that the definitions, "fit" and "healthy", vary person to person.
My clients can expect to learn the importance of proper form each time we have a session. They can also expect to understand what physical fitness means for them; and each session will bring them one step closer to their goals. Most importantly, they can expect to sweat and have fun!
I have not had any official clients, only friends and family members who have asked for exercise regimens. I would love for my future clients to be able to share their success!
