I originally got into training as an overweight teenager who was struggling with social anxiety, and it improved my life dramatically. The gym has become my escape from reality and a means for self discovery. Whenever I step onto the mats or into the weight room, I feel like I'm really there in the moment. Training also gives me structure and stability in my life, and these are the things that I want to share with others. I understand that most people have extremely busy lives and really just want to unwind when they work out, so that's my main focus. Training, for me, is about enjoyment, not obligation. Of course, that doesn't mean that I don't hold my clients accountable and push them to their limits. But I emphasize going at their pace, not mine. Ultimately, it's about you, not me.

Mitch was always stressed out. He wanted to train, but he felt like all of his previous trainers had put too much pressure on him. He wanted to find someone who was laid back and who understood how overwhelmed he was by his daily life. Mitch said that for the first time, he was able to consistently come to the gym and look forward to it without feeling stressed or overwhelmed. Along with the physical aspect, I also helped him with a variety of techniques to manage stress in his daily life.
