Hi, my name is Jake. I gained a passion for weight training when I was a high school student. I spent a lot of my free time those years researching exercise techniques and nutrition. My passion for that made me decide to get my bachelor's degree in exercise science. I've worked with clients who have had a wide variety of goals, but I specialize in helping people lose fat, build muscle, and tone up.

Often I begin the session asking about what they've been struggling with that week, and I'll coach them through some problem solving. The initial sessions tend to be more focused on learning the right movements and exercises for your body, so there's less variety early on. As the client improves, the sessions will increase in difficulty with a little more variety. It's never my goal to make a client "feel the burn" or leave a session feeling exhausted. I do my best to help all my clients enjoy their sessions and consistently make progress without feeling like they're killing themselves. I help people build practical and healthy eating habits. I use a lot of resistance training to help keep clients' metabolisms revving high, as well as employing it to address injuries/pain they have.
One of my more recent clients successfully lost 12 pounds over five weeks through a more consistent exercise routine and implementing some simple nutrition habits.
