About Me

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, J-Mike grew up with a love of sports and fitness. In 1996, he attended Grambling State University to play baseball. After an unfortunate injury that ended his baseball career, J-Mike continued to pursue an education in fitness training.

After college, J-Mike worked as a fitness/coach and trainer and later as the Director of Fitness Operations for the French Rivera Spa. He also worked as a Recreational Therapist in the Chemical Dependency Program for adolescents at the Guillaume Center. Hurricane Katrina brought J-Mike to Houston, where he started working as a personal trainer at Bally Total Fitness in West University.

If you have any sort of injury or medical condition, J-Mike can work with you on a great plan to safely target your fitness goals.

-ATTENTION: The entire hour-long session you have with J-Mike, you will have his undivided attention. He is there to work with YOU and help YOU.

-PROGRESS: Be prepared to be amazed with yourself. As your training sessions progress, so will you. J-Mike will adjust each workout as you improve. Watch yourself increase 100% in your fitness abilities as you train.
