About Me

I started as a football coach for an after school program for junior high boys in Chula Vista California in 1997. I immediately felt right at home coaching and bringing the kids though a football fitness regimen.

I have been a sport playing fanatic since childhood. I have played several years of soccer, wrestling, and football along with Karate, Thai Kwando, and Mixed Martial Arts.

Leaving behind my days as a collegiate athlete in sunny San Diego, I found himself back in Silicon Valley. Following the passing of my father, like a true athlete, I found work in a place that was always a home...the gym. In 1999, I began work at Bally’s Total Fitness in Fremont, CA. Not realizing how diverse I had become with my training and coaching, I soon developed a established clientele and began training other personal trainers at Bally’s. In 2006, feeling the injuries of his own that had been sustained though his college football days and many years of sports, I found Egoscue, and a Chek a specialist in human movement. Reaping the benefits of the Egoscue and Chek ways, free of pain and full movement throughout his body, I entered into the study of mobility, structure, and human movement. From 2006 to 2008, I worked under the knowledgable and watchful eye of my mentor. In 2008, I took the leap of leaving your everyday ‘fitness gym’ behind and became an independent contractor. It was also in 2008, that I found the ‘Crossfit’ way. Realizing that my cross-training regimen was almost identical to the Crossfit regimen, I immediately found his path coming to a pinnacle moment in his life. I took everything out of his garage, painted, bought a little equipment, and borrowed some equipment from a colleague and went to work!

I found that the dynamics of Cross-training, structure and mobility therapy was a perfect balance for training hard and at the same time keeping mobility and flexibility health optimal with the Structure Therapy.

What to Expect

My clients will receive a personalized program based off of their individual goals and needs. Before beginning said program, my client and I will go over their goals along with any past and/or current injuries or impingements to ensure that we are building on or building up a solid foundation. Clients can expect to be challenged and held accountable to reach their goals.

1-on-1 Personal Training and Semi-Private Training sessions are 60 minutes in length - Warm Up, Dynamic Stretching, Workout, Cool Down
Restorative sessions (Chronic Pain, Post-Injury Rehab) typically run 60-90 minutes in length due to the complexity of the work being done
