Hi, my name is Isabel. I worked for forty years in different sales jobs; the last twenty years spent selling office furniture. At the age of sixty, I was experiencing severe career burnout and stress. I had also developed degenerative arthritis in both hips and lived in constant pain for four years. I had both my hips replaced and after getting my new hips, it was like getting a second chance at life and I decided to do something I loved rather than just work to make money. I realized I could turn my lifelong love of health and fitness into a new career. In 2013 I decided to utilize my knowledge of working out and nutrition to pursue a career as a certified personal trainer. I decided to change my life to help others change theirs. I have been working out and active for most of my life and lifting weights for over thirty years. I have competed as a bodybuilder, worked as a personal trainer at Ballys, taught woman’s group weightlifting classes for the City of Lakewood and won the Max Muscle Maxformation contest. I also have a complete gym in my basement and have been training people on a part-time basis at my home gym for about twelve years. After leaving my previous sales career, I enrolled in and completed the extensive eight month Personal Trainer Academy at the Community College of Aurora. Upon completion of the program, I obtained my National Strength and Conditioning Association certification. In addition to this certification, I am a certified senior exercise specialist and senior strength and conditioning specialist and have my CPR/AED certification.

Each session includes a warm up before completing a total body weightlifting workout. After this is completed, I lead the client through a core workout with stretching and a cool down.
Isabel is the best trainer I could have asked for. She is patient and knows the best exercises to help someone like me who is not in shape. She has helped me with nutrition and helped me learn how to exercise right. Isabel knows how to motivate and to push me in the right direction. Erica G. on August 24, 2015
