About Me

Hi, my name is Ginger. I started my career as a dancer and have been teaching fitness for over 20 years. Dance provided a great foundation for personal training. Core strength, balance, flexibility, and proper form and movement patterns are critical to continued health and fitness since the majority of injuries come from compromised form, lack of strength or flexibility, or overuse. Working through my own injuries led to a passion to help clients who are moving out of rehab and starting a new journey as well as women and teen girls who are at the point in their lives where they are ready to focus on themselves and their health and wellness.

What to Expect

The first session will include fitness and goal assessments to help determine your customized workout. Every workout will include a short warm-up, a full body workout that hits all your major muscle groups, including core and balance work, and will conclude with a stretch. I believe you workout modalities need to change periodically so that you continue to challenge your body in new ways. And it also makes working out a lot more fun! I own a lot of equipment as well as a Pilates reformer so that every workout can be varied.

Ginger works with me twice a week and she is a very knowledgeable and highly experienced physical trainer. She customizes the programs so that my torturing, sorry, training is never boring. Recently, we have been targeting a sore shoulder with specific exercises that assist in rehabbing it without any further injury or discomfort. The work outs are well rounded hitting all body parts and including some cardio. She is a good listener and responds to individual needs.
