About Me

Hi, my name is Gary. I am an avid cyclist, tennis player, runner and fitness enthusiast. Living in Newtown you can often see me running and cycling on the tow path by the Delaware River or in the hills of both Bucks and Hunterdon counties. I also do TRX training outside at Peace Valley Park to insure proper muscle balancing and strength. My enthusiasm for fitness and teaching enable me to set an example for my clients, who seek guidance and motivation in their exercise regiment. I currently hold an American Council of Exercise personal training certification. ACE is one of the few NCCA accredited personal training certifications resulting in higher standards and greater knowledge in the field of personal training. I utilize exercise programs designed to improve stability, strength, posture and endurance. Weight loss is often a benefit of this exercise regiment. Through a variety of assessments I employ corrective and restorative exercise strategies that are based on the needs of the client for a unique training experience. My expertise exists in training adults who often do not reach their expectations. In designing an exercise program, I utilize the latest methods and techniques (TRX, Kettle bells) so the client may achieve his or her goals safely and surely. I believe a functional training approach will yield better results than doing exercise machines alone and many of my clients have been successful with this regiment. Having gleaned much of my knowledge from physical therapists, my practical knowledge enables me to deliver results and satisfaction for my clients. No cookie cutter approach to training, I believe we are all different requiring different training strategies to achieve the necessary results.

What to Expect

Targeted programs are designed that are appropriate for your strengths and weaknesses. Much of this information is gleaned from assessments and my listening to your training objectives!
