Expect to be challenged and learn something new each workout. The first session is a basic assessment of the clients abilities to perform certain exercises to their best of their ability. After the first session is complete, the client and I sit together to discuss fitness goals and nutrition to create a plan for success.
One of my favorite successes was from a young female client who went from only doing a few knee push-ups to sets of 10 full push-ups in only a couple of months. Many take the humble push-up for granted, but relative to her starting point, she had made great strides in upper body strength and more importantly, confidence in the gym.

I have been training with Donald for over a year. He is passionate and dedicated to his clients. Each session starts with a warm up, and ends with stretching. I would let him know what I wanted to work on, and he would always have a plan, oftentimes preparing workouts in advance. Donald helped me lose weight and get back in shape by focusing on functionality vs just strictly lifting. His regimen helped me break through plateaus that I couldn’t just lifting on my own, as we did exercises I never thought of, often exposing weaknesses and imbalances that I wasn’t aware that I had. Great trainer. Don is a wonderful personal trainer! I've been working with him for a few weeks and already notice a difference in my body. He takes the time to understand your fitness and lifestyle goals. He will motivate you during every session and always corrects your form. Don also has a fun personality- the hour goes by fast. He works out with you and makes you laugh in every session. By far the best personal trainer I've ever had.
Don is a natural athlete! He is motivating and positive, I had the opportunity to workout with Don a couple of times. I had the pleasure of working with Don for the past 6 weeks. So far, my experience has been absolutely fantastic! The value you get is incomparable to my previous trainer experiences for a couple of reasons:
- Your trainer comes to you. You do not have to waste any time to go to a gym, but instead use the gym that your apartment complex (or similar) has. This is extremely a good value for busy professionals like me. Additionally you do not sign up to a gym and pay for it. Instead, you get focused attention from your personal trainer in a comfortable environment.
-You learn to appreciate what your body can do for you and how a solid trainer can help in the process. Before starting this program with Don, I tried a different personal trainer who was working at a gym. My prior experience was not a good one as I did not feel like my personal trainer cared about my progress. Luckily, I have a good trainer now who cares about my physical as well as mental health (e.g. stress). He takes his time to listen patiently and provide good advice on what I should focus on when I exercise on my own and of course how I should stick to smart/healthy eating without starving myself.
Don is amazing - He's the perfect mix of tough and encouraging, and can help anyone of all fitness levels. Not only does he come up with amazing circuits that leave me sore for a week - he also knows how to deal with different injuries and sensitivities. I have horrible feet, and he's given me low-impact but strenuous workouts every time I've seen him. That being said, he knows when something painful can be rolled/stretched out rather than just worked around. A couple times when I complained of pain, he had my roll out tight spots and to my amazement, I instantaneously had a better range of motion.
