Hi, my name is Diana. I am a certified National Academy of Sports Medicine trainer from Houston, TX. My passion for health and fitness has led me down a path of helping others reach their full potential and exceed their short and long-term goals. Exercise and proper nutrition are essential in promoting a sense of overall well-being (body, mind and spirit). I work with a wide range of clients, but mostly women over 35 who have arthritis, back problems, balance issues, muscle imbalances, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, obesity and cancer. Every client is a success story, no matter how big or small the change may be. When I am not training clients, I love to run and train for 5ks, 10ks, half or full marathons. I am also a cancer survivor and love working with this population to help keep them feel strong and in-control of their bodies during and after their treatment.
National Academy of Sports Medicine
One-on-one training is a personal experience and I love helping people achieve their personal goals through positive coaching and motivation. Once a client is assessed and a baseline is established, a custom-made fitness program will be designed and modified if needed. I emphasize proper form and alignment and incorporate core stability, balance and strength. Over the years, it has given me great satisfaction to pass along my experience, knowledge and enthusiasm with the highest standard of professionalism and safety to those wanting to adopt a lifestyle of physical and mental well-being. The challenge is to maintain this habit until it becomes a new way of life. Allow me to be your support as I guide and encourage you through creating a new happier, healthier YOU.

I started training with Diana a minimum of 2 days a week in September 2013. I continue today and that is a true testament to the multitude of benefits I've encountered. I'm a girl in my 5th decade of life who had NEVER exercised. I did not know how to exercise and I sure didn't like to sweat!
Diana has made my entire experience one of motivation, inspiration and encouragement. She keeps each session fresh, positive and safe. I don't believe I have ever done the exact same routine with her twice. She invites me to set realistic goals and counsels me on ways to help me achieve them. She encourages me to keep moving forward and sets a great example in her own lifestyle.
It is still hard for me to believe that I actually look forward to my 2 days/week of training with Diana. Today, I have core strength (I didn't know what that meant when I started). I actually have muscles in my thighs that I haven't seen since the 1980's. I have significantly improved my balance and coordination. (I have a history of tripping and falling on uneven pavement). Now I have the core-strength and balance to auto-correct and save me from falling.
I have recommended Diana to friends of mine who continue to see her as well. Diana's approach is truly individualized, she is nothing about a "cookie cutter approach".
Diana took not only my physical condition but also my emotional concerns into consideration when developing a plan for me. I was fearful and scared for lots of reasons, and now, I'm eager to get there and experience my session, and to learn and improve! I am forever grateful to have found her!
