I have been a competitive athlete since I was 4 years old, beginning with swim team. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, I swam, played baseball, basketball, volleyball, and water polo, ultimately settling on water polo as my primary sport. The sport has taken me all over the world via National and Club Teams, as well as brought me to my dream school, UCLA, where I played all 4 years as a Division 1 athlete. I followed my collegiate years with a year of professional water polo in Italy, where I played for a Top 4 European League Team. I am now coaching the sport as well as focusing on my career in fitness and nutrition both to aid athletes and people who want to improve their lives. Rewinding slightly, I became highly interested in fitness, conditioning, and strength in high school when I realized how important is was for my athletic performance. As I continued with my training, I recognized the other general lifestyle benefits of mindful exercise and nutrition, allowing me to fall in love with improving both my own lifestyle, as well as educating others on those benefits.

What to Expect

I do my best to create an exercise program designed to directly benefit the client as an individual. To me this means not only taking into account the clients schedule, daily activities, body type, and so on, but also basing exercise selection on what a client enjoys doing and feel confident. With that being said, I am not a pushover, so any clients must assume that I have high expectations of them, and I will push them to complete trainings I know they are capable of completing based on their skill set. I am also a very relationship-oriented person, so my one-on-one interaction and dynamic with my clients are very important to me, as I care about not only their physical state, but mental and emotional ones as well.

Client Success Story

-After having two kids, I have successfully helped one of my clients (both a mother and full time employee), get a hold on her nutrition and relationship with food, as well as see the benefits of exercise and see improvements in her strength levels. We are well on our way of 10 lbs of weight loss, as well as improvements in strength and endurance. -Another one of my clients is now playing Division 1 Water Polo at Cal Baptist University after training together. I designed a program to specifically allow her to become stronger and more agile in the water, and we put her in a place to be more prepared than many of her peers for the demands of Division 1 athletics as only a freshman. -My third and most proud moment with client success was coaching my client through her battle with breast cancer. She had just had surgery to undergo a mastectomy, and then followed up with chemo. Throughout her entire battle, we trained together 3 times a week where she not only maintained strength, but actually got stronger. She was incredibly resilient the entire time, and with her dedication, she felt energetic and confident all while enduring the worst.
