Hello and thank you for your interest. I'm a well rounded, seasoned 15yr veteran personal trainer. I specialize in many areas including losing weight, gaining weight, strength, conditioning and power to name a few. I graduated from NASM with a Personal Training CPT, Performance Enhancement Specialist and Youth Excercise Specialist certification. I began my journey as a trainer in the US ARMY Special Operations as a Master Fitness Instructor. I retired US Army in 2015 and continued to change lives after serving my country and fellow soldiers. A complete session will typically format itself as such. Start with a 10 min warm-up, active stretch, strength and resistance training. A 15min cardio session will follow and end with static stretching. I also allow question and answering afterwards to be sure you are clear on that particular training as well as nutrition guidance. Each client is different, but I like to use this format. It has helped and changed many of my clients physique and outlook on training.
I have never been into weight lifting and always focused on running as a means to stay in shape. When the physical fitness changed for the Army, I realized my old routine was not going to work. I decided I needed a trainer and Desmond was suggested as the perfect fit to what I needed, and I can’t disagree. He is passionate about the work he does and dedicates his time to help each individual he trains based on what they are trying to accomplish. I wouldn’t be where I’m at today, without him. Desmond is the most dedicated and hardworking fitness trainer I’ve ever met and had the pleasure of working with. He will not let his clients fail. He may tell you things that you think are mean but he is just trying to keep you going and keep you motivated. Desmond is an awesome trainer. He really takes time to know you so that he can create a training that is specific to your fitness needs and your goals. He works one on one with you so you are not left trying to figure out how to do your workouts. You cant go wrong with a trainer like him. I did 30 minutes workout 3 times a week for almost two years. This made a huge change in the way I look and feel.
