Dennis is one of the best most hard-working trainers in the boroughs that you will find he will work with you teach you new things about fitness exercises stretches if something is sore and he will push you and make sure you will achieve all your fitness goals and he also works with you on mental exercise as well as the physical part he will push you on abs cardio calisthenics everything you can imagine. He does long sessions and is one of the most experienced and most acknowledged about training and he really is one of the best. Dennis’ approach is unique because he does the exercise with you and makes sure your posture and stance during exercise is as perfect as it can be so that you get the full hurt and pain from the exercise so your body can look like you want it to so you can be an alpha male and let me tell you the women love it

This is going to be a long review because I owe, Dennis so much. My fitness. My happiness. Being the best me I have ever been!

First and foremost I would like to extend my deepest and most profound thank you and gratefulness to, Dennis in helping me to become the healthier, fitter and more happy self than I have known for a while - I’m fact, for as long as I can remember. Thank you 🙏 so much, Dennis! Suffice it to say, I am writing this review because beyond the shadow of a doubt I owe Dennis a great deal of gratitude and want to pay forward my experience training with him so that others may gain the level of strength, fitness, overall well-being and most importantly self confidence.

Dennis was referred to me through a friend whom had trained with him before me and honestly had nothing bad to say. In fact, they praised him non stop. Almost to the point of annoyance. My friend went from a string bean to the jolly green giant training with Dennis!

I used to box, play soccer and baseball. Over the years i unfortunately had several surgeries that not only impaired my strength and fitness levels, but almost more importantly lead to me becoming quite unhappy with myself as the rehab process lead to me not being able to pursue those sports. I gained weight, lost muscle and I lost confidence - I stopped taking care of my physical health and it affected me not just on the surface but also on the inside. I was unhappy with how the world saw me and how I felt. I desperately wanted to get back to that person I had once known who now was a complete stranger. I didn’t know how to after a while. Then I met Dennis. Dennis didn’t merely reintroduce me to my old self... he made me a better me than I had EVER known.

When we first met, Dennis approached me with a smile and charisma that was one I had not known for a while because of how I felt about myself on the outside. People, I felt, saw my out of shape self at first glance. I often felt judged. I almost felt as if all people could see was the lazy, physically weak and out of shape person I projected. He shook my hand and we sat down and spoke for a while. Dennis sat and listened to me as I explained my concerns concerns and how they affected both my self confidence and clearly my health. He listened attentively as I expressed my health and fitness goals. When Dennis told me that he would help me accomplish these - I was skeptical despite my friend’s praise. It was nothing to do with Dennis. It all had to do with me feeling I had no more motivation... well let me tell you... my boxing trainer, soccer coaches, baseball coach and even during my fraternity pledging (which was alllll PT based off an army training program, which alumni whom served had developed - I had the motivation than, but for reasons other than my own health and prior to my surgeries (one of which actually left my shoulder muscles atrophied)) gave me that motivation; and he continues to as I’m still training with him. Dennis smiled and I remember it like yesterday, he said “if you commit yourself, and this is what you want, WE will make it happen”; nothing could be further from an untruth. Currently I am in amazing shape, eating better, feeling better, stronger, have more energy and even on days I don’t train with him I eat right, train right and the best part... when Dennis is not with me, I can give him a ring or shoot him a text with a question and he ALWAYS gets back to me.

Dennis gave me a fitness level exam and a free consultation session! We then finalized how I wanted to progress. I said - verbatim - “kick my butt!” He said if that’s what you want you got it and laughed and I felt like I had already made the best choice about anything in a very, very long time.

Dennis has made me a thorough nutrition plan. A fitness routine for various calisthenics that he adjusts accordingly as I progressed and when I was ready to go from shedding weight to bulking up with lean muscle and get cut... he successfully and happily helped me to make that happen. I have never felt more fit, more healthy nor loved myself more. Again, thank you eternally Dennis!

We started immediately following my initial consultation. Currently we train twice a week 2 hours each session (and he wrote me a plan for when I’m not with him). For my goals we do a combination of calisthenics, supersets, free weights and machines, stretches and therapy for my injured shoulder, push-pull, resistance, weights and cardio. And the best parts (1) he watches my form and heart rate at all times so I feel safe and know I am doing things properly as to not hurt myself (let me tell you, doing a push-up I thought was simply, Dennis would tell me to make one adjustment for proper form and boy did I feel the difference!) (2) during the wrap up-cool down cardio he does it with me and we just chat! If I ever want to book another session he is ALWAYS accessible and accommodating. He puts his clients before himself and knows them each and has his own personal relationship with each (based on my experience and what my friend who referred me explained). Dennis works with your body not just your goals. This is how he is able to successfully help you achieve your goals. And he ALWAYS has is eye on you for safety. He keeps track of your heart rate, fatigue level and knows when you can do that extra push and will encourage you to without being like a drill sergeant (unless that’s what you want like I requested!). I feel so encouraged and walk out of the gym with my chest out and head high with Dennis at my side just chatting about how I did, what I can improve on and how, what he admired and honestly just chat. It’s a wonderful experience. I couldn’t be more grateful and happy I am trained by Dennis.

As for his qualifications, I always felt safe and he always answered all my questions thoroughly and in a way I could understand; and I never shied from asking him to explain more technical language in more lay terms. He is qualified with rehab and my shoulder which was the reason behind me seeking him out in the first place has both gotten stronger than it ever was and I have more range of motion back then my surgeons ordered PT/OT offered me!

As above mentioned, Dennis is a motivator. But he doesn’t push - unless you ask like I did 😉. Even when he pushes me to my limit - and sometimes beyond - because I asked, I feel safe and have never gotten hurt, never felt ashamed when I couldn’t do that one extra push alone... because Dennis refuses to say I can’t “come on, one more, you got this!” Helll say in a way that’s not like an army drill Sargent but like a friend cheering you on to not give up when you think you can’t go on or even want to give up. I couldn’t be more satisfied with training wirh Dennis and I don’t see an end date in sight.

As for the nutrition, Dennis will accommodate for Whatber it is you want. If you can’t stop eating ice cream or don’t want to, hell give you alternatives. I slipped up once or twice, texted in crisis mode and Dennis gave that great charismatic and encouraging laugh he does and said “brother, you’ll be fine, this is what you can do...” I’ll do it, and I’m sure you can guess the outcome.... it’s as if that half a pint I ate never even existed! He even showed me some yummy recipes!

I’m it’s simplest form this is my summary of my training with Dennis: 🥬🥩🥚🏋️‍♂️🚴‍♂️💪😁😎🙌

I hope this long review helps others who are seeking a competent and amazing trainer to help them to accomplish all of their fitness and overall happiness and health goals!

Dennis is extremely knowledgeable, and professional. We sat down and first talked about what I wanted to achieve, from the training sessions to even talking about good meal plans for myself.
The first session was great, and motivating! The exercises given were strenuous without being damaging. I have 2 months off of work and I know I will be able to keep up with these sessions!
