My passion for health and fitness has motivated my to educate my clients on the importance of eating for their health and longevity and exercising correctly to achieve body-fat loss, gaining lean muscle mass, increasing energy levels, improving balance and posture and feeling happy and healthy at the end of each session. I work with clients of all ages and fitness levels. After working with me, my clients look at food as fuel for the body and mind and they make fitness a part of their lifestyle. My personal training style is based on each individual's goals, fitness levels, age, injuries and personality. I have worked with all age groups and all fitness levels .I have worked with knee, shoulder, back and hip injuries to improve quality of life and relieve pain. You do not have to be intimidated, shy or think that you have to wait to get in shape in order to work together. If you are training for an event or you want to push yourself to a higher level of fitness, I will challenge you and make you do all the exercises you would not do on your own. My passion is guiding my clients to feeling healthier and stronger. “I loved my FaceTime workout with Deb! It was a really convenient way to bring my favorite trainer into my home. If you’re like me, you know you should at least do a home workout if you can’t get to the gym or go outside, but actually doing it requires a level of motivation I just don’t have. I own almost no equipment but that was no issue- Deb put me through a tough full body workout AND kept me entertained with fun conversation the entire time. Can’t wait to do it again!” KATHY-48, Miami, FL
"How great is all the advice and work I've done with Deb? Well, let me tell you! I've dropped 45 lbs, my energy level has increased tremendously, I sleep better at night, my blood work came back with an overall improvement in every area! High cholesterol - no more. Now it is in the optimal range! Fatty liver - gone! I'm overall a much happier person, and I owe it all to Deb for inspiring me and encouraging me to be true to myself and treat myself in a kind and loving fashion by eating right and exercising. Thanks Deb! Love you!" Monica

Deborah is simply amazing! She customizes your training to meet your specific needs, goals and limitations. Bad knees, bad back, whatever, you get an awesome workout without the risk of pain or injury, which is no small thing! She takes the time to really understand how to help you achieve your goals and in addition to training she counsels you on nutrition so you really get a comprehensive plan that others don't come close to. Hell, no other trainer ever bothered to have me stretch out after weight training so I wouldn't be sore the next day. Deb covers the bases and does so with the energy, enthusiasm and humor that make you miss her and training sessions on your days off. It's not work with Deb, it's fun! And really, isn't that the formula for success?!
I started working with Deb this spring as a way to get back on track with working out and my food. I’ve always been an active person, but after an injury a couple of years ago, I was no longer comfortable at the gym. I also began to realize that a big part of my avoidance was anxiety. We began with weight-training, low weight, lots of reps, and through her encouragement I realized that I was capable of doing this and that it doesn’t matter what the other people in the gym are doing. She explains each move clearly and is excellent on modifications for my injury because she listens. What I found most useful is that she would provide me with a routine that I could do on other days at the gym. Whether this was all part of her secret plan or not, she was also giving me the confidence to go to the gym on my own. She taught me how to navigate the machines, I learned which weights to use, I had the moves that would make me stronger. In addition to the workouts, I worked with Deb on her Food Print for Life program. A highly educational part to me was our field trip to Whole Foods where she taught me how to read labels and which things to look out for. Her suggestions of snacks and food items was invaluable. While there were some differences in taste (do NOT try that turkey jerky) she gave me the tools to navigate the grocery store on my own and know which staples I needed. My food logs kept me on track, but also helped to reveal the emotional reasons behind some of my eating including the stresses of my job and personal life. Once she was able to identify those, we made changes together. Deb has great energy and a positive spirit. I messed up. A lot. And that was okay. Instead of being scared to admit about that burger and fries I had, Deb helped me realize why I chose to order that and what I could do in the future. There were also so many things that I had always considered healthy and I had Deb open my eyes. The whole program has been a challenge, but in a good way, that has made me a stronger and healthier person. This is not just a blanket statement. The changes in food have given me extra energy. I no longer have headaches (which I used to think were because of stress). I’m sleeping better. I want to go to the gym on my own and make time in my schedule for movement. Deb’s encouragement and understanding of my day-to-day led to personalized advice and changes that work best for my body, my (un)willingness to cook, and my schedule. Shortly after we started working out I found out I was going to be in a wedding...in ten weeks. While my original goals were for a healthier lifestyle, Deb helped me step up the exercises and the food to make quick changes. She was so supportive during those last few weeks when we worked to get me ready for this wedding. The day of the wedding I sent her a picture from the hotel gym. I was so proud of myself because I had the knowledge to be in an unfamiliar gym and still do a workout. That night I sent her a picture from the wedding with words I have never, ever said before “I like how I look in this photo.” Not everyone is the same and Deb worked so hard to make suggestions that worked for me. This has been a lifestyle change because of Deb’s encouragement. She pushed me to care, to work harder, and put in the work on my end. I am forever grateful.
