Hi, my name is Deanna. I have been an athlete all of my life. I was a multi-sport athlete in high school at St. Michael's in Santa Fe, New Mexico and went on to play basketball at the collegiate level at Seattle University in Washington. After a serious injury to my shoulder during my junior year in college, I decided to help others develop their bodies as a machine so that they could ward off potential injuries. In 2004 I began training and never looked back. I believe that everyone is an athlete, and whether you are training for a specific event or training for life, I am here to help you. My training approach is to have fun and work hard. I will push you to your limits in an encouraging way, help you to reach your fitness goals, and cheer you on to keep fighting!

We start with a dynamic warmup and/or foam rolling, move on to 40 minutes of a focused workout based on the clients personally designed program, and then end with foam rolling and stretching.
It is a pleasure for me to recommend Deanna as a personal trainer, coach, health and healing professional . I am a 68 year old women with a diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease. I struggle daily with the symptoms and side effect of the disease. I was not one for exercise. I was very physically active as a young person but as I aged had not added a replacement for that activity. I became more sedentary in life. When I got my diagnosis in 2008 I had to change all that. I have experienced quite a few personal trainers, physical therapist and other health professionals over the last 7 years. I have been training with Deanna for 6 months now and experience a wealth of advantages for doing so. Deanna is not your traditional trainer. You won’t find her checking her email or watching YouTube while you suffer through you second rep of push-ups. She is very dedicated to train and/or heal her clients. She does not treat her clients like wounded patients. She sees them as potential warriors for their own health. Deanna educates her self to the needs of her clients. She doesn’t hesitate to spend the evening on the internet researching new information about Parkinson’s or other problems and what physical activities are best to someone with that diagnosis or problem. Deanna is not for the exercise sycophants. She requires a self commitment from her clients and encourages, supports and motivated them to do so. Parkinson’s is a progressive and degenerative disease. I can say unequivocally that my strength, motivation and general health has improved drastically since I met Deanna and changed trainers. She is one of the most positive things I have invested myself in. My Parkinson’s symptoms continue stay on the base line and don’t progress. With the help of Deanna my symptoms have not progressed and I have experienced very little degeneration. I couldn’t recommend Deanna more highly.
