About Me

Hi, my name is Dawn. I provide clients with personal training and nutrition coaching. I specialize in strength training and weight loss. My ultimate goal for my clients is simple -- I want to help them lead a happy and healthy life. My programs are progressively designed to ease your body and mind into the new workout and nutrition routine to limit the risk of injury and put you on the path to life-long success. My personal health & fitness journey has changed my life. Having spent years living with chronic fatigue and pain from fibromyalgia, I was able to put this illness in remission through improved diet and exercise. Freed from the shackles of pain and inflammation caused by this disease, I knew I wanted to help others get better as well. That’s when I decided to become a personal trainer, so I can teach others about nutrition, fitness and proper exercise form. I still remember lifting my first barbell, doing my first pull-up. I know what it’s like to think that you can’t get better, and I can help remove the word "can’t" from your life. Speaking of the word can't, ladies! Do you think that you can’t do pull-ups and push-ups or that you can’t toss a 50 pound bag of sand? I'm here to show that you're wrong. Yes, you CAN - and the benefit of all this hard work - some super sexy curves! We all have the ability to mold our bodies to the shape that we dream. When you combine healthy lifestyle changes and the proper training you can be on your way to a healthier, happier you. If you show commitment, train hard, and eat clean - you will own the results! My internal health is just as important to me as my external health, and I personally live by the things I teach, and the products that I recommend, to my clients. I specialize in functional strength training and so you’ll find sandbags, Viprs, rings, sandbells, slam balls, medicine balls, strength bags, jump ropes, barbells, dumbbells, etc - the stuff that works.

Client Success Story

My most recent success story -- an old client returned to me after a 6 month break and was frustrated because she gained weight even though she was spinning/running 3 times a week. In her first month we trained together 2 times per week, and she also participated in two nutrition counseling sessions. She worked hard in her sessions, and she was committed to her diet changes. The results her InBody scan showed- 1 pound muscle gain and 1 pound fat lost - her total weight remained the same. Excellent!
