Hi, my name is Daniel. I am a former Division 1 All-American in track and field with experience in competitive weightlifting and strongman competitions. I have been training myself and others for four years now and have tremendous success with high school, college, and professional level athletes having sent competitors on to the next level numerous times as well as returning individuals to sport after serious injury. I look, live, and act the part as I take as much care of myself as I do my clients.
NSCA
A client can expect that the first session is used to assess the client and understand how and why they move through a battery of typical movements one would experience as well as body weight exercises. After the assessment and the client and I have gotten to the same page, a typical session includes: Dynamic warm up, movement and plyometric skill acquisition to reduce risks of injury ( just because you aren't a professional athlete doesn't mean you are immune to the risk of injury). Then I will guide the client through a weightlifting session that comprises of mobility/stability of corresponding joints, balance and activation exercises, multi joint weightlifting exercises, Olympic exercises (If desired), and conditioning. During the session I teach my clients the ins and outs of what we do to increase understanding of what is happening and what the focus of our training is. I strive to impart knowledge so that at whatever point our client/trainer relationship ends, they have the tools to continue training in a safe and effective manner no matter the environment.
To be honest, my everyday is a client success story. I have trained MLB homerun champions, NFL superbowl champions, olympic soccer gold medalists. Their story is not what I would like you to focus on, I want my clients to focus on the process because everyone's journey is different. Feel free to ask me for more detail.
