Hi there, I'm Courtney! I am a Drexel University alumni and I have an extensive background in professional dance performance and fitness instruction. I began training in dance when I was 3-years-old, and I have been training in various fitness techniques for the past 10 years. I began instructing dance and fitness (group class and privates) in 2014. I have access to a beautiful private rooftop fitness studio in Logan Square Philadelphia and I am also willing to travel to you. I am passionate about living a healthy and happy life, and together we will reach your goals - no matter what they are! Fitness - I specialize in HIIT Cardio and Toning training techniques for maximum results in weight loss, overall strength training, toning/conditioning, stretching and injury prevention. I tailor each workout based on your individual abilities and goals. Also happy to provide daily health and wellness tips! Dance - I have trained and performed alongside world renowned artists such as Adrienne Canterna and Rasta Thomas (Bad Boys of Dance), Robert Roldan (SYTYCD), David Parsons (Parsons Dance), and more! I have taught and choreographed dance for children and adults of all ages.
Your workout will be based on your individual abilities and goals! In every session, even if we are targeting a specific muscle group more so than others, you can expect to get in a full body workout. We will begin with active stretching and discussing our goals for the day, followed by a killer ab warm-up series, followed by a set of circuit series combining cardio and strengthening exercises tailored to meet your goals, followed by strength training, and ending with a toning and stretching mat series that will increase flexibility and reduce any risk of injury.
In addition to working for a dance company, I personal train outside of my 9-5. With that said, I have anywhere between 5-7 clients weekly who are at various levels. I can confidently say that with each session, my clients get noticeably stronger and return each time happy and ready to work! All of the workout routines and exercises that I give to my clients, I try on myself first to ensure that they feel good on the body while pushing for improvements. Clients describe my workouts as innovative, challenging, creative, encouraging, energizing, and result-oriented. I am very passionate about making a difference and going on this journey with you to help you transform into a stronger version of YOU, and we have fun along the way!
