About Me

My name is Clare and I have been involved in sports my whole life. I currently work as an Certified Athletic Trainer at a high school providing athletes with medical care for all their orthopedic concerns. I was a swimmer and lacrosse player growing up and I graduated high school with many injuries. I was furious that I lost out on opportunities and I wanted to recondition my body to be able to complete any task given to me.

I spent years studying, practicing, and working to truly understand form and meaning behind each movement. I did everything from basic rehabilitation at physical therapy to heavy lifting to body weight training to martial arts.

I travel to my clients so there are no intimidating gym factors, trying to get a spot in the gym parking lot, and/or not getting true one-on-one attention because you would be surrounded by people at a gym.

My goal as a personal trainer is to give you the chance that I gave myself. I got my life and body back. What ever your goals are I will listen to you and help you reach them.

What to Expect

The basics include Warm up, targeted workouts based upon your goals, cool down.
On top of that you can get an "at home plan" designed to you personally.
Support of the personal trainer in lifestyle challenges.

I had a client who gave birth to twins. She naturally gained weight during the pregnancy and unfortunately lost strength. She came to me with multiple goals in mind; lose weight, get muscle mass, learn how to eat, etc.

After a little less than a year working together she had to move away because of work. In that time she had lost 30 lbs, regained muscle, and we were able to balance the muscle strength so she was equally strong/able regardless on both sides of her body.
