What to Expect

We take a highly individualized approach, so a session can vary quite a bit depending on the needs of the person we are working with. Generally it will consist of a 3 to 5 minute warm up that may include dynamic stretching, calisthenics, mobility exercises, and joint specific and movement specific warm up exercises. After the warm up we will move on to various forms of resistance training and cardiovascular training techniques that are fun for the client and fit their goals and abilities such as free weights, machines, kettle bells, HIIT training, medicine balls, resistance bands, endurance training, barbells, and more. Throughout the session we'll explain and demonstrate how to do each exercise correctly and safely. At the end there are some cool down and recovery techniques like stretching and foam rolling.

One of my clients, Lea, had gotten to the point where she felt like she'd tried everything, and was frustrated and about to give up. She wanted to lose weight and add muscle tone, and tried several workout video and cardio routines that failed to produce the results she was looking for.
