Hi, my name is Chelsea. I have been a dancer since the age of four and have a great awareness of my body. Since I began teaching dance, I developed a strong ability to correct postural alignment in others, which has transferred over to my cuing abilities as a personal trainer. My dance training taught me to manipulate my body in ways that made me vulnerable to injury. When I was introduced to strength training in college, I learned how to strengthen my joints and muscles and still be mobile. This discovery inspired me to help others. After graduating from college, I began a career as a personal trainer at Equinox where I was first introduced to the concept of functional movement. I developed Move Better Look Better with a mission to help clients reach their fitness goals through functional movement. Each program includes strength building, cardio and corrective exercises to improve posture, form and physical fitness.

Clients can expect a fun, yet challenging full-body workout in each session. We will begin with a core warm up, then move into the workout and finish with a relaxing cool down and stretch. I will coach you through proper form and encourage you the whole way through.
I'm always inspired when clients accomplished something that they never expected. Generally, clients have goals of losing a certain amount of pounds, but along the way, they might find that they can now squat 130lbs or even touch their toes, which they couldn't do before.
