About Me

Originally from Blue Ridge Georgia, I went to Fannin County High where I was two time all state selection in football. I signed a full scholarship to play football at Georgia Southern University where I was a part of 2 Southern Conference Championships and 1 Sun-Belt Championship although I was sidelined the last 3 years of my career due to injury. I spent the next couple of years earning my bachelors in Exercise Science with emphasis in coaching, nutrition, and psychology as well as my CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist). During my undergrad I made Deans List multiple times and athletic honor roll. I spent several semesters working with the Georgia Southern athletics strength and conditioning staff as well as the physical therapy clinic at Riverstone Medical in Blue Ridge Ga. I also work as a white water raft guide on the Ocoee River in Polk County Tennessee where the '96 Olympic kayaking trials were held. I also have experience in youth/elderly training, sport and exercise psychology counseling, as well as some addiction/substance abuse counseling. I spent the last year or so sporadically traveling the country and living in California for a short time. Along with my passion for helping people I am passionate about developing personal and social relationships with people. Whitewater sports, Outdoor activities, live music and actively learning new things are also great passions of mine among many others.

What to Expect

There has never been another you and never will be another you, therefor there is no typical session because most importantly I develop programs based on specific detailed understandings of each individual on many levels. I have an extensive background and experience in strength and conditioning with athletes and a strong understanding of all things exercise science, nutrition, psychology, and rehabilitation. I am pursuing this job because I hope to transforms lives by educating clients on every facet of their health and fitness. I intend to teach clients all that I can rather than just tell them what to do. This way they have the tools and knowledge to continue their health and fitness journey long after working with me as well as pass that knowledge on to others. I am extremely personable and very good at understanding individual needs not only in program design, nutrition, flexiblility, age/gender considerations etc. but also in the social, psychosocial, and psychological understanding of people and these effects on exercise. I am dedicated to perfecting the smallest details because the whole picture and desired end results are much harder to achieve and unsustainable without attention to detail. Ultimately I would like this job because I love people and I want to give back in the way I know I am most effective.

Client Success Story

Working with a client who has breast cancer to help her reduce her body weight before a major surgery while improving her quality of life. Also training with my good friend and former Georgia Southern teammate Jerick McKinnon who plays running back for the San Francisco 49ers.

Client Feedback

Dawn A.

Bryant does an excellent job pushing clients to work harder to meet their goals while being mindful of any physical restraints. He is knowledgeable about how the muscles and nerves interrelate and has provided guidance outside the gym on stretches to relieve back and neck strain.
