Hi, my name is Brian. Upon graduating from high school I joined the Armed Forces. I served in the U.S. Army for 5 years with the 82nd Airborne Division. As an airborne infantryman, physical readiness is of the utmost importance and expectations are high. Being responsible for between 3-9 individuals fitness plans on a daily basis taught me a great deal about identifying strengths and weaknesses as well as how to most effectively improve on those weaknesses as per the individual. Having served in Iraq and Afghanistan I come to realize the human body is capable of much more than we give ourselves credit. Upon separating from the military I realized how much I enjoyed fitness and leading others in bettering themselves physically. I am currently studying in Kinesiology with a focus in strength and conditioning. My main focus in my own training has been power lifting, but I like to continue to look good while doing it. I feel anyone can benefit from learning to squat, bench and dead-lift properly as well as safely. Whatever your fitness goals may be I have a great deal of knowledge I'm sure could help you to achieve those goals.
National Academy of Sports Medicine
Just like building a good house, we start with a strong foundation. I believe any good workout revolves around the basic movements. By learning how to properly perform the basics and how to apply them towards your goals anything is achievable.
