Howdy, My name is Baykal (pronounced like Michael, but with a B. Bichael). I received a bachelors in exercise science and a minor in nutrition at the University of Central Arkansas. During these years I also participated in collegiate athletics which is where I discovered my passion for performance training. Always trying to use the concepts that I was taught in class towards my own athletic goals. In 2014, I worked as a coach in the strength and conditioning department at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Working and assisting with several different sports in football, basketball, women’s soccer, tennis, sand volleyball, track, cheer/dance, water polo, and sailing (yes sailing! lol). In addition to this I worked with many other in the general and special populations (weight loss, diabetes, hypertension, cardiac rehab, physical therapy, and etc.). The fall of 2016, I pursued a Master’s degree in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. In joint with my studies, I continued working with general and special populations as well as young athletes through club teams. I was also very humbled when my professors asked me to teach undergraduate lecture courses for the department as a paid employee (not a graduate assistant).

I walked into my gym last week and smile lit up my face. I saw Baykal for the first time in a couple of years. I thought he was visiting but then I found out he would be the trainer for some of my classes. I was so excited and by the end of class I was thinking "this is what I have been missing!" Baykal is knowledgeable, accommodating, and encouraging. I have been dealing with some injuries over the last year and after 4 classes with Baykal, I finally feel encouraged to know I can get back to my pre-injury levels. I have seen Baykal train clients as young as sixteen through clients in their 60's(that's me) and he is great with all of them. Try a session with Baykal. You won't be disappointed!
Baykal is an amazing trainer. Motivating without being pushy. Created a unique training plan to meet my goals while adapting for my limitations. I highly recommend Baykal!!
