I've been passionate about fitness and health since I was 15 years old. I began training to be a bodybuilder at that age, so I began learning everything that I could to reach my goals. However, after I had attained that goal, I realized that helping others was what I wanted to do with my skills and centered on general health and wellness. I aspire to be a well-rounded, fun and knowledgeable trainer who is client-centered and focused on results. Once you give me a round, people rarely go anywhere else. I have been in the personal training business since I was 23 years old, starting in New York City and moving home to finish my education in exercise science while building a thriving training business in West Virginia. When I first meet with you, I want to know you first. What do you enjoy doing? What is and how did you arrive at your goal? What do you want to see in 30, 60, 90, 180 and 365 days from now? Once I assess you physically through testing, I design a personalized fitness and nutrition plan for you. Each session is motivated, time-efficient and most of all, fun! I aspire to never have the same workout twice!
There are many! I'll use my past client 'ASA' as an example. He was a computer programmer, very sedentary. When he came to me at 67 years old, he felt that he was too far gone for results. I assured him that he was not correct about that and we would start slow, and gradually work our way to his goal of 50 lbs lost. In less than 200 days, his weight dropped through nutrition and training from 240 lbs to 197 lbs!
