I have been a trainer for thirteen years and have been involved in fitness for more than 20. I carry two nationally recognized certifications and am also a certified TRX instructor. I have trained in health clubs and in my own personal training studio, but love to meet people where they are at. Knowing that not everyone can afford to have a trainer in their home, I love to bring the workout experience to them! Making the decision to take control of your health and fitness is an important one and my hope is that you will let me take that next step with you. NSCA
Each session is one hour long and is tailored to meet YOUR specific needs. We start each session with a thorough warmup and then move into your training for that particular session. This can be strength training, HIIT, bodyweight, etc. Once the session is over, we will do a stretching and cool-down time and then you are ready to go!
A previous client of mine was 62 years old and wanted to get back his energy and fitness of his youth. He had a high stress job and had a passion (and amazing talent) for cooking. He struggled with pain in his back while cooking due to his height and needed to de-stress his body after long commutes. After spending a good amount of time strengthening and building his core, as well as giving him progressive and fun functional workouts, he was able to cook with no more pain in his back and his doctor felt comfortable to decrease several of his meds. He felt like a kid again and made huge strength gains. No one was calling him the "old guy!"
