Health and fitness have been passions of mine for over ten years. I have spent endless amounts of time researching and reading about the topics to make sure that I am properly equipped to help you reach your health and fitness goals. You can reach your goals and I can help you get there. But why do I care? I have experienced what being overweight feels like. I have experienced what it is like to not be able to walk around the block without becoming winded. I have experienced what it is like to empty the cupboards because you need to eat everything in sight to calm your emotions. I have lost over 65 pounds, and it was NOT easy, but my experiences make me better able to help you reach your goals. Unlike many other personal trainers, I can understand what you are going through and what you need - because I've been there.

What to Expect

Each session starts with a 10 minute dynamic warm-up to get the heart pumping and the muscles loosened up. Following this, we get right into the workout. The workout will depend on numerous factors - goals, types of equipment available, location, fitness level, etc. As an example, a typical weight loss workout will incorporate circuits or intervals with both cardio and strength training. This keeps the heart rate up to torch fat while building muscle to help the body work more efficiently, aiding the weight loss process. Each session concludes with 5-7 minutes of stretching and conversation to discuss progress, future steps, and questions or concerns.
