Hi, my name is Alex, I've been a personal trainer for 17 years. I've trained all age groups, including kids and seniors, as well as various athletes, with goals from weight loss to strength training, to improve in a sport or particular activity, stress management and post birth. I graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago with a BS in psychology and a BS in anthropology. I competed there in track & field and was a practice player on the basketball team. I played indoor volleyball in the junior Olympics, and was part of the USA development program. I also played beach volleyball on the Mid West Professional Volleyball tour and competed in fencing both nationally and internationally. I also speak French.

That depends on the client's needs and preferences, but in general there's a warm up followed by the main body of work. I also like to leave room for discussion and changes in the program based on needs.
I suppose that would be up to the client to really comment on that, but I've one client to climb is first mountain, one client to run his first marathon, one client with the physical aspect of his third degree karate black belt; all three succeeded, but honestly I think the real success in my mind are the individuals that have lost 10 to 60 pounds and are able to function at a much healthier level.
