About Me

Hi, my name is Alex. I am a certified personal trainer based in North Capitol Hill, Denver, CO. I currently have 14 fitness certifications and have attended dozens of advanced fitness workshops and seminars with some of the best strength coaches in the world . I started working as a personal trainer in 2011, and spent my first 5 years in business in New York City, training over 200 clients of various demographics and genders as well coaching personal trainers by doing seminars and workshops while I was working as a fitness manager. My training methods have a big emphasis on progressive calisthenics. Accordingly, my program design is built on a principle of increasing strength and skill level that results in dramatic improvement in body composition when combined with proper nutrition.

Sessions will be conducted from Alex Ceban - Bodyweight Training fitness studio located in North Capitol Hill.

Please note that I train my clients in a 1-on-4 format, which means there will be up to 3 other people training at the same time with you. You'll still get a personalized training program for every workout with me just like in 1-on-1 set up, which means everyone will have completely separate workout programs during their sessions. PRICES vary from $40 to $52 depending on training frequency. (NO MEMBERSHIP FEES).

What to Expect

Expect me to be on time, with your program already designed on my tablet and with my phone put far away. I'll motivate and guide you every minute of your session. I try to motivate my clients when they are struggling, but I don't ever yell at my clients. We'll be training with a laser focus on your goals until we reach them. It will be challenging, we will have fun with it and every session will make you feel great about your progress!

I let myself go and wanted to loose some weight and gain some muscle so I started working out with Alex. It was the best decision I could have made! He comes up with a plan before I arrive and shares it with me weekly so I can mentally prepare, he tracks my weight weekly to keep me on track, and he provides honest and compassionate feedback about my progress. He truly does care about my progress, and when we are training, I feel he is 100% dedicated to me during our time together. He is super easy to get ahold of and is very responsive when I have questions or issues. I have hit my target weight in 2 1/2 months and I have never felt better. I do plan on still working out with Alex as now that I have got the nutrition as a routine, I have lost my body fat, I am now ready to bulk up with some muscle for definition. I really like that we tackled small goals at first, it was much less intimidating then trying to do everything all at once, I think I would have failed if I did not have Alex's guidance and continuing education. He taught me so much that I can not think him enough for giving me a new perspective on life, it really was a total transformation, and it all started with the first call to Alex. Thank You!!

First off, let me just say that Alex is one of the most genuinely nice guys I've ever met and that his passion for health and fitness is legitimately contagious. I worked out with Alex for a few months and he taught me to view fitness from an entirely different perspective. When we started, we had a conversation about my current training habits and my fitness goals. I have always been skeptical of calisthenics training and most often utilize a combination of free weights and machines when I work out, but I haven't noticeably progressed in several years. Alex built me a routine week-by-week based on my performance in our prior sessions. He studied my form to check for weak points and built me custom workouts designed to help me systematically improve. He helped me fundamentally re-build my fitness routine from the ground up using only my body weight and the results in terms of my strength and endurance became noticeable after only a few weeks. He really made me focus on core strength, endurance, progressive overload and exercise variety. His approach is methodical, challenging and has allowed me to continuously improve over the last few months. He always has time to answer my questions and elaborate on any given exercise or technique that we are using. Alex has been a great trainer for me! He went above and beyond to help me achieve my fitness goals. During training sessions he was attentive, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He held me accountable and always corrected my form. He also noticed that I had mobility issues due to some prior injuries and gave me mobility and injury specific exercises to help me with my workouts. Lastly, he was more than willing to answer my questions and give tips when it came to my nutrition. He was just an all around great trainer. I found Alex on fitness trainer; explained my goal to get back on skis after a long recovery from knee surgery. I was unable to ski the last 2 years, because of strength in surgery knee. I came to Alex 3 months ago with several goals in mind that I have been wanting to accomplish. From the first meeting, to the next, Alex has always been prepared, on time, flexible to my schedule and understanding.
