Hi, my name is Alan. I am a recent graduate from James Madison University where I studied kinesiology and was a student strength coach to several athletic teams. I am a powerlifter and enjoy helping others get stronger. I am experienced in online coaching as well, and happy to do online coaching/programming as well.
We will start with a short warm up, going from less to more specific to your training goals. This time will also be used as a mental check in point for the day. After this I will help lead you throw the workout, as I am more of a facilitator to your training, then a get in your face and yell kind of coach. Once we have finished the workout we will do a short cool down that will also be used as a check out and a review of the session, touching on high or low points.
One of my previous athletes who was coming in regularly had some of the worst hamstring mobility I have ever witnessed. Once I was able to identify this I was able to motivate him to stretch with me and over the next 8 weeks I got him to go from barely going past his knees to touching the floor.
