Hey! I'm Vahid, I've been a personal trainer for 4 years now. I received my education at NPTI (National Personal Training Institute) and followed that up with a NASM certification and a kettlebell certification. I've had experience working at large gyms such as Boston Sports Clubs in Watertown, small personal studios such as Fitness Together in Cambridge, and have experience with traveling to my clients for in-home training as well as in-office training. I believe in a well balanced approach to training. It should be a empowering experience that gets the client to actually want to come back and apply lessons learned with me to a healthier lifestyle as a whole.

It depends entirely on the client and their goals. Generally, the session will start with static stretching or a dynamic warm up to get loosened up and ready to go. From there, anything goes. Equipment - dumbbells, kettle bells, medicine balls, yoga mats, resistance bands, foam rollers. The session can range from high intensity interval training to flexibility training to strength training to plyometric training to corrective exercise training or a combination of all. There will always be a cool down phase the last 5-10 minutes of the session where we will focus on stretching and myofascial release to best aid in muscle recovery going forward.
I've helped with clients who have lost over 100 pounds. I have helped marathon runners get rid of nagging knee pains with proper accessory training and recovery methods. I have worked with so many clients over the last 4 years and I take the most pride in the high percentage of people who have developed a joy in bettering themselves both physically and mentally through exercise.
