I am an ACE-certified personal trainer. I am passionate about helping men and women reach their goals of weight loss, increased strength, improved flexibility and optimal wellness. I love exercise/fitness/wellness and enjoy sharing my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with clients. My favorite thing about being a trainer is witnessing the changes in clients. Not only is their physical health improved, but the happiness and self-confidence I see is simply amazing!Favorite client success story: I am proud of every client. They all reap progress in strength, weight-loss, endurance, stamina, flexibility, etc. It is not possible for me to select a favorite. Every improvement in every person is recognized, acknowledged and celebrated. :-) My favorite stories are all the same. A client hires me for the main purpose of weight loss, firming, toning, endurance, etc. When the client begins to notice "non-scale" victories, they become even more excited, motivated and apt to adhere to their training program. "Non-scale" victories are: more energy, sleep better at night, wake up refreshed, cravings are dissipating, clothes fit better or differently, "brain-fog" is reduced, posture is improved, lower back pain is relieved, knee pain is relieved, etc.
American Counsil on Exercise
During a typical training session, a dynamic warm-up is required for safety (muscle warmth, etc.) Next, the individualized training program that has been designed for the specific client begins. I like to teach as we train so the client can feel confident when exercising independently. I provide the client with an individually designed program to fit their time and needs until our next scheduled training appointment. Consistancy is the key to success. I have a wide variety of training equipment that I travel with to client's homes, offices, apartment gyms or nearby parks. I have Mini trampolines (rebounder), dumbbells, Bosu balance trainer, Lebert equalizers, exercise resistance bands, agility ladder, agility rings, Ugi ball, stability balls, battle ropes, kettle bells, medicine balls, Ultimate sandbag, foam rollers, yoga straps, yoga blocks, Versa balance pods, step, etc. We conclude each training session with mild static stretches to the muscle groups that we worked. Elasticity and plasticity is very important to avoid injuries.
