A typical hour training session will include 5-10 mins of cardio warm up, followed by 45 mins of resistance training, depending on the client's goal, followed by light stretching at the conclusion.
I had a young girl come to me who was a newlywed and had gained a lot of weight in her first year of marriage. I could tell she was in pain by the way she described how uncomfortable she was. We set a short term weight loss goal of 15lbs which she achieved within less than 2 months. Her next goal was to be able to fit into a bridesmaid dress she was scheduled to wear in the upcoming weeks. Not only did she get into the dress, she had to have it altered because it was now too big! She is still a current client and going strong.
