I've been a fitness professional for more than 10 years, I have a beautiful family (wife and two kids), and I believe that that my life mission is in practicing love in one another, just as we are loved. With that said, I'm a serious trainer and I take care of my clients by giving them results.

Shawn has been one of the most inspirational trainers. He conducts his fitness training with mental and spiritual encouragement. Shawn and FXfit value the individual. He supports my personal goals while educating me on the best practices of fitness. His workouts are not loud and physically annoying. Instead, they are fun and diverse, and they focus on variety. My type of training!
I have been training with Shawn Martinez at FX Fit for a while now. I keep training with him because I really enjoy it. His knowledge, outlook, and dedication is outstanding. I start out with a thorough warm-up and stretching then dive into the workout. While I like to think of myself as fairly athletic, I am realistic enough to know I have several physical limitations and Shawn knows this as well. He tailors every workout to be different so there is no typical workout. Shawn adapts workouts to be of maximum benefit to me. They last 45 minutes or so. He also suggests exercises I can do on my own.
He has helped me gain strength, flexibility, and stability.
I particularly appreciate Shawn texting or emailing me during the week just to touch base on other aspects of my health goals. Nutrition is obviously critical. So Shawn's follow up on my diet is an added benefit.
I also appreciate Shawn's integrity and that he is conscious of his role in the community as demonstrated by his monthly free group workouts at the Domain and other places around town.
