Hi, my name is Sarah. My passion for health and fitness began at a very young age when I became involved with playing travel softball. This led me to pursue a career as a fitness professional. I became certified through AFAA and began personal training in 2008. I graduated with a bachelor's of science in Kinesiology from SUNY Cortland in 2012 and enlisted in the US Army. I received my current certification as an exercise physiologist through ACSM and have consistently trained clients as I have fulfilled my military commitment. I have trained for and competed in Spartan races and bikini/figure competitions and am currently training for an ultra marathon in December in addition to my figure competition season. I love rock climbing, pole fitness, swimming, bodybuilding, and countless other physical activities. I have overcome many boundaries in my fitness journey - both physical and mental - and I am here to help you do the same!

What to Expect

When we meet for the first time, the session will be entirely centered around introduction and consultation. I will take the time to truly get to know you, your health, fitness, and nutrition background, and we will go in depth about every detail of your short and long term training goals. You will have the opportunity to ask me any and all questions and we will establish a positive relationship and the groundwork for successful training. After our initial meeting, I will design a customized training and nutrition program based on your goals and each session will be devoted to checking in with your progress and taking the next step towards your goals.

Client Success Story

Rachel is a mid-twenties law student who was seeking to boost her weight loss and improve her overall fitness in order to look and feel great for her graduation, and also to look and feel great in a bikini during her summer vacation. When I began working with her, we had her start with 2-3 weight training sessions at her campus gym every week along with walking with her husband and dogs a few nights a week. We worked together to build her knowledge of macronutrients and healthy food choices and raised her awareness of portion control while still being able to eat the majority of foods that she enjoys most. Eventually we transitioned Rachel to 3-4 at- home workouts every week that she is able to do with her husband, and they are both currently training to run their first 5k. Rachel has lost over 10 pounds in 3 months and countless inches. By utilizing measurements and progress pictures and focusing on how her clothes fit, how she performs her workouts, how her energy and moods have been boosted throughout her journey, Rachel has been able to stay focused on her goals and the big picture and continues to amaze and motivate me by her passion and commitment to her journey towards a happy and healthy life.
