Client Success Story
Here's a testimonial from one of my former clients, Ashley.
In April of 2013, I joined the gym to start on my weight loss goal. At this point in my life, I was almost 225 lbs. I was embarrassed about my weight and health. I did not want to admit my weight or seek out help for the fear of having to share this with anyone. I started working out on my own and I tried eating better. After a month on my own, I found out I was not going to the gym as often as I should have, and I still was not making the right choices on what to eat. Long story short, I was not losing any weight! After a month of frustration, my sister started personal training and asked me to join her.
I started group training in May of 2013 with Ryan. When I started the group training I was very nervous and did not know what to expect. My sister has always been a petite, “fit” person and the idea of a trainer scared me. I then had two people to keep me accountable and to support me. Ryan did such an awesome job focusing on both of us and training us at different levels. He was able to work on our strengths and most important, challenge us were we needed improvement. He gave us both individual attention and motivation, even in the group setting. I started to see MAJOR improvements in the first couple of months in my physical fit level and in weight loss. I wanted to take it to the next step: personal training by myself! For the next ten months I trained with Ryan three times a week. My fit level increased and the weight melted off!!
In total, I trained with Ryan for one year. In that year I lost 60 lbs and countless number of inches. I went from not being able to run a quarter of a mile to running almost three miles. I have gained so much strength and confidence during this time. Ryan is such an awesome personal trainer! He has encouraged me, pushed me, and challenged me the whole way. It seemed like every training session I was able to meet new goals. I always felt safe training with Ryan, and I knew he would not tell me to do something that I could not. He pushed me to my maximum levels, and kept me accountable about my nutrition. I would not be where I am today without Ryan’s guidance and support.

Ryan is an amazing and very motivated man. I worked with Ryan for about two years as well did my mom and we were never disappointed. He would motivate us when we didn't feel like working out or continuing on. He not only was our trainer but a friend. He took it upon himself to train us for a lower cost on his own time after leaving the gym when we could no longer afford to train. He never gave up on us and we will never forget what he did for us. He gave us the tools to keep going and even let us record him doing excersises he knew we needed to work on when he moved away. I have nevser felt more comfortable with anyone especially when getting hot and gross working out. Ryan is truely the best and he practices what he preaches. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a trainer or employee.
Ryan trained me for about 6 months, and overall it was a great experience. He helped me get started by designing a work out plan to meet my needs as well as help with nutrition. He was very attentive and switched up my workouts as needed. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the body and made sure that I learned exercises correctly and did what was best for me. He was a great motivator and a fantastic trainer.
I started training with Ryan and I was so over weight and out of shape. I couldn't even do a squat. After training with Ryan for a year I had lost 20 lbs and could do tons of squats. He motivated me to do things I didn't think I would ever be able to do again. He got me back in shape and to this day he still calls and asks how I am doing with my life and fitness. I owe Ryan for giving me my health back. I worked with Ryan 3 days a week for an hour. Ryan improved everything in my life I had horrible knees and was always in pain and now they hardly ever bother me. Not only would I recommend Ryan, I actually did to several of my friends & family and all my daughters
Ryan has a great training style. He is more cardio then weight training but it works. Other than Ryan's great training, he also has an awesome personality.
I worked with Ryan for 6 months. Ryan helped me in more ways than one. He assisted me with my meal plan, motivated me to workout and reach personal goals, he educated me and made me feel confident about my abilities: What my body was capable of lifting and how to properly do an exercise so that you are getting the best results. Ryan genuinely cares about your health and what your expectations are. The only reason I do not meet with him anymore is because he relocated. If I find out he is ever back in Austin I would not hesitate to rehire him as my trainer. I gained 10 healthy pounds while I trained with him, gaining weight has always been my problem and I am happy with my results. Best decision I made!
