Hi, my name is RJ. I am 23-years-old and in the summer of 2015 I became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am a former NCAA Division 1 collegiate athlete; I played baseball for Dallas Baptist University for 3 years. Although I graduated with a finance degree, training and helping other has always been a passion of mine. I am driven to grow and expand my knowledge of the fitness industry each and every single day in order to put myself in a situation to help clients reach their fitness goals. Although I do not have years of “experience” being a personal trainer, I do have years of experience training with some of the most elite collegiate and professional athletes, along with some of the most elite trainers college baseball has to offer in my opinion.

“You don’t train to be the best in the world. You train to be the best in the world on your worse day.”- Ronda Rousey UFC Women’s Champion Although not all clients are training to be elite athletes, I do believe they should take the mindset of training to be the best in order to push themselves to see the results they desire. Clients can expect to be pushed in a scientific approach in order to reach their goals. Depending on the day, a client will encounter SMR (foam rolling), stretching, cardio, possible agility/plyometric work, resistance (weight) training, followed by a cool down period.
I have recently just become a certified personal trainer so I hope to have many success stories to share in the near future!
