Are you ready to finally knock out your fitness goals? 9X Trainer of the Year (Houston Awards Program and BBB (2014-2022) Ricky Jackson is ready to show you how and, as a world-recognized professional boxer, he’s not satisfied with just a knockout. When you train with Ricky Jackson you’re deciding to be a world-class winner. You’re taking responsibility for your health and well-being and going the distance to finally reach your goals instead of just talking about them and failing to take action. Let a champion show you how. Over the last four decades, there is hardly an element of fitness that Jackson hasn’t conquered. He’s dominated not only collegiate athletics but his endeavors at the professional level, as well. Not to mention his collaborative efforts as the director of numerous athletic programs and a one-on-one coach and personal trainer. In 2013, he was honored for his achievements, work ethic, and commitment to his students and clients by receiving the Personal Trainer of the Year award in his hometown of Houston, Texas. It was a hard-won honor Ricky takes tremendous pride in, just as he’s humbled and appreciative for all of the acknowledgments he’s received. Jackson started hammering out his professional reputation and legacy by becoming a professional prizefighter in 1989. Bypassing the amateur ranks thanks to his training standards, impeccable strength, and conditioning knowledge, world-class skill, and indomitable desire to succeed, Jackson made boxing history when he fought for the first and only World Boxing Union Super Cruiserweight title in 1995. Over the course of his boxing career, Jackson worked with many of the top promoters and trainers ever to grace the boxing world; including Lou Duva, George Benton, Emanuel Stewart, Eddie Futch, Tommy Brooks, Don Turner, Jessie Reid, Curtis Cokes, Cedric Kushner, Aaron Snowell and many others. In 1998, he decided to sign with legendary manager Don King. Jackson would remain with King until 2000. He decided to finally retire in 2001. Over the span of that long and impressive career, he left an indelible mark with a stunning record of 26 overall wins, 4 overall losses, and 18 KO’s. Apart from boxing, Jackson poured himself into 100-plus hours studying human performance at Texas Southern University (TSU). His experiences there— particularly the education he received from the many great trainers he had the opportunity to work directly with— provided Ricky with the power to develop training programs that have led to phenomenal results for his countless satisfied clients. Jackson would go on to spend seven years as the supervising head of the strength and conditioning program at TSU. Overseeing 18 different sports within the athletic program at TSU, Jackson received a huge amount of praise and recognition for his efforts to develop the school’s weight room into a fully-functional training facility for all of the athletic program’s talent. During the 7 years he spent at TSU, Jackson began training students and employees and educating student-athletes about the importance of proper nourishment in achieving optimal performance levels. He would go on to parlay that training experience at TSU into careers as a personal trainer and boxing instructor at the Briar’s Club and a lengthy stay at the Houstonian Trellis Spa where he personally directed the youth camp program for children of the exclusive health club’s members. While at the Houstonian Trellis Spa he spearheaded many innovative and exciting programs for the youth and strove to create a state-of-the-art fitness program for children from the ages of 3 – 12. As a humanitarian, Jackson has donated his time and seemingly boundless energy to countless philanthropic efforts for community organizations in the Houston, Texas area. He has been honored with the Young Black Achiever Award and the Positive Influential African American Male Award. Bob Lanier, the former mayor of Houston, recognized Ricky’s many contributions to the city by establishing July 23, 1996, as “Ricky Action Jackson Day.” Jackson was also presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for his outstanding accomplishments in receiving the highest attainable award one can earn from the State of Texas heavyweight boxing commission. Ricky Jackson believes in pushing his own limits and reaching new standards of excellence. He goes far beyond to get the same kind of life-altering success from each client he trains. Propelling each, and every person he trains beyond what even they knew they were capable of is Ricky’s most enduring goal. To that end, Jackson has personally created programs that teach the striking fundamentals the sweet science has to offer. As they jab, shadow-box, and tear their way through speed bag and heavy bag exercises, Ricky’s clients develop superlative balance, coordination, and strength. Client Success Story

Ricky, the fitness saves my life. The doctors said had I not been in such great shape I may have died. Two cysts and my uterus wall finally ruptured and blood and fluid went into my abdomen and pelvic cavity. Had I not been so fit my body would not have been able to make it. I had emergency surgery and the endometriosis had taken over everything and grown into my spine and pelvic ligaments, colon and organs. No wonder I was hurting so badly. Anyway after I recover in 6 weeks I should be way better and in no pain and able to get into the best shape ever. Thanks for training me. It literally saved my life! Denise L. on April 18, 2015
