Hi! My name is Michelle! I have been a personal trainer for more than six years and have trained an array of clientele, from athletes to weight loss and injured clients. I do not really specialize in any one aspect of training because I believe my own weight loss and athletic journey has equipped me with enough knowledge to help a variety of people! I do, however, believe that nutrition is key and that having fun while exercising is the key to weight loss success and a healthy life! I also believe that balancing your fitness life with your social life is extremely important and that you CAN have your cake and eat it too! And get those abs you seriously want!

Fun with a some tough love! Although I am very methodical in the way I write client programs, I love to mix it up so my clients do not get bored and so I can push them past their mental limits! Sessions are typically 45 minutes to an hour. A session always starts with a warm up where we go over the client's diet and meal choices for the previous days and ways to improve in the future. Depending on their level of fitness, I incorporate CrossFit, TRX training, Kickboxing, and HIIT into their strength and conditioning workout. If you are brand new to training, we work mainly on building a solid foundation with weight lifting and core work. I believe it is essential to take time to explain and demonstrate every new exercise so a client gets the most out of it and avoids any injury! After a tough (but fun) workout, I help the client stretch and cool down. If I incorporate new exercises, I love to get feedback at the end of a session.
While training in Mississippi, I had a client that I trained for two years. She was in her sixties and had preexisting injuries in her shoulder and knees. When I met her, she could not squat or lunge and the range of motion in her shoulder was terrible. It took some time but after two years she could perform all leg movements (except leg extensions) and she strengthened her shoulders and regained full range of motion. I have helped many people lose weight and gain weight, but helping someone restore function so she can play with her grandkids has truly been one of the best parts of my career!
